How is it done
Superchips are world leaders at reprogramming your car’s on-board computer to enhance performance.
For any particular car, Superchips can reprogramme the information held on the computer’s chip (hence our name) to optimise and improve power output without compromising fuel economy. The technical stuff Car manufacturer’s call the on board computer the Electronic Control Unit (the ECU). This monitors and controls ignition timing and the fueling across a range of driving conditions. The Superchip is programmed to adjust the timing and fuelling maps to optimise performance.

Over 15 years, Superchips have developed a unique set of applications for most modern cars, including Non turbos, Turbos and Turbocharged diesels.
Non Turbo (normally aspirated engine) cars
Superchip’s re-mapping of the on board computer gives up to 10% more power. Other annoying traits such as hesitation and poor throttle response, that can occur on computer-controlled cars, are eliminated making the car more lively and responsive. This makes in-town driving a pleasure, requiring less gear changing with a smooth and progressive engine response.
Turbo cars
There are impressive gains of up to 25% more power and torque. Driving pleasure is increased through less gear changing and you will feel that your car is more lively and responsive. Superchips dothis by increasing the manufacturer’s boost limit. And with the reprogrammed computer matching the car’s ignition timing and fuelling, long term reliability of the engine is retained.
Turbocharged Diesel cars
Superchip’s reprogramming of the computer matches the fuelling to the increased manufacturer’s boost pressure, giving impressive gains of up to 30% more torque and more power. This adds to driving pleasure, requiring less gear changing, making the car more lively and responsive. There is also the potential for improved fuel economy
What does the Superchip Warranty offer?
In the extremely unlikely event of The Warrantor being responsible for causing damage to your vehicle, Superchips will, under the terms and conditions of their warranty, repair your vehicle. The warranty is not intended to replace the existing warranty provided by the manufacturer, but will supplement the cover to include the parts deem to be excluded by the manufacturer.
How is it done?
The Superchip Warranty has been arranged in collaboration with Firebond PLC. Firebond are insurance brokers, specializing in non-standard insurance and have set up the administration and service mechanisms for the warranty. Firebond will use their nationwide connections to assess the damage and repair your vehicle quickly, professionally and independently.

Summary of cover
Mechanical or Electrical Breakdown:
being the sudden and unforeseen failure of a component of the Motor Vehicle directly attributable to the operating of the Superchip the subject of this Warranty, which has caused the Motor Vehicle to stop working and therefore requiring repair or replacement before normal operation can be resumed.
Period: The Lesser Of:
a) 12 months from the date of fitting of the Superchip to the Motor Vehicle by a Superchips Approved Installer or b) 30,000 miles as measured on the Motor Vehicle odometer from the date of installation of the Superchip by a Superchips Approved Installer; or c) the period remaining on the original warranty provide by the manufacturer of the Motor Vehicle at the time of purchase from new whichever is the shorter.
Conditions and Limits:
You should be aware that failure by you, the Customer to observe the manufacturers recommended maintenance procedures will invalidate any claim made. No sum in respect of economic or consequential loss is payable Use excludes competitions, track days, pacemaking, rallying and claims are subject to a limit of £10,000.00 in the aggregate in respect of any one vehicle. Normal deterioration or claims as a result of wear and tear are not covered. The Warrantors cannot be held responsible for modifications to the vehicle which lead to defects
